Julien Kerk

Julien Kerk is an odd creature with a great love for the arts, and has a myriad of interests and hobbies. As a Year 2 Diploma in English Theatre student at NAFA, acting is currently his main pursuit, but he is also a hobbyist pole dancer, cosplayer, visual artist, and freelance face painter. He has had the privilege of acting in two award-winning queer short films— Loved Girls Wear Short Shorts (dir. Megan Teo, 2022) and The Seven Seas of Sage (dir. El Goh, 2024).

At NAFA he has portrayed various characters in plays such as Oswald in Ghosts by Henrik Ibsen, Bernadette in Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons by Sam Steiner, and Gink in Dragon’s Wings, Cat’s Tongue, which was written and directed by his multi-talented Seven Seas of Sage co-actor Zjayanhi ‘Red’ Kang.

Julien longs to explore as many fictional worlds as possible through as many art forms and styles as possible. He is driven daily by his love for art and friends.

He can be found on Instagram at @jooliem1 and @dorian_jn04 for cosplay.
